Drying:
Fluid
bed Dryer: For optimum compatibility with
existing plant control strartegies, fluid
bed systems are available with a choice of
manual or FDA cpmpliant automated controls.
Progammable logic controller (PLC) and
PC-based options offer a wide range of recipe
handling, data acquisition and network communication
functions.

Tabletting:

reliable and flexible tablet presses.

One-Pot microwave / vacuum drying (Gentle
drying of powders):
The bottom driven GP GENERAL PROCESSOR
from Aeromatic – Fielder and the top driven
ULTIMA PROTM from Collette
incorporates high – shear granulation with vacuum
and microwave drying option in a single one-pot
processor for high containment.
Vacuum drying can be gas assisted to improve
heat and mass transfer. Microwave drying is
used to achieve times equal to conventional
drying process and precise scale up of drying
time periods. The swinging bowl of the ULTIMA
PROTM offers very gentle mixing
during drying which is specially of interest
for mechanically sensitive materials or formuli. |
